Short Bio

Dr. Schuster is an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and is Director of Orthodontic Services at the top 10 Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is primary faculty in a cleft-craniofacial orthodontic fellowship training program. Dr. Schuster practices full-time clinical cleft and craniofacial orthodontics has contributed to the field through numerous scientific publications, book chapters and over 150 national and international presentations. One of her proudest accomplishments is seeing the cleft-craniofacial fellowship graduates move on to teach and care for patients with complex medical and surgical/orthodontic care.
